Vantage Pro2 professional weather station from Davis Instruments, reference 6160EU. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made by radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 meters maximum.

For its proper functioning, this station must be supplemented with a datalogger (6510USB - 6510SER - Wifilogger - Meteopiethernet)

The Weather Envoy 6316EU console from Davis Instruments is a console without LCD screen which will allow you to receive data from a weather station or an ISS Vantage Pro 2 and send them to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not supplied ) and thus you can place your LCD console in another room. The Weather Envoy console offers the same measurement and data storage features as the Vantage Pro 2 LCD console. The Weather Envoy console is also compatible with the Davis Vantage Vue station and can be mounted against a wall. The connection between the external sensors (ISS) and the console is made by radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 meters on sight.

The ISS is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised (solar) radiation shelter. The rain gauge is equipped with a 2-trough tipping bucket system for measuring precipitation and anti-bird spikes. The anemometer - wind vane can be detached from the ISS to be installed on a roof for example thanks to its 12 meter cable. The ISS is equipped with a UV sensor to measure the UV index and a pyranometer to measure solar radiation and potential evapotranspiration (used in agriculture).
