

Vantage Pro 2 Plus Wireless Weather Station

Davis Instruments Professional Weather Station. A complete version of the Vantage Pro 2 Plus weather station, this weather station also has solar sensors (pyranometer and UV sensor). The presence of the pyranometer allows the calculation of evapotranspiration.
Davis Instruments complete weather station, part number 6162EU. The link between the outdoor sensors (ISS) and the console is via radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 metres at sight. The console is equipped with a large backlit LCD display and can be mounted on a wall or placed on a table or shelf. The console allows the user to view real-time weather conditions, extremes (max and min), and graphs of the various variables. It is also possible to set alarms and connect the console to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not included). The ISS is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised (solar) radiation shelter. The rain gauge is equipped with a 2-trough tipping bucket system for measuring precipitation and anti-bird spikes. The anemometer - wind vane can be detached from the ISS to be installed on a roof for example thanks to its 12 meter cable. The ISS is equipped with a UV sensor to measure the UV index and a pyranometer to measure solar radiation and potential evapotranspiration (used in agriculture).
