This special package allows you to purchase the Vantage pro 2 weather station sensor suite in combination with the Vantage Vue console that is compatible with the Vantage pro 2 weather station.  

The Vantage Vue console offers the same functionality as the Vantage pro 2 console but is more economical. This gives you the opportunity to get all the features of the Vantage pro 2 stations at a more affordable price. If you want to add solar sensors to your weather station in the future, it is advisable to purchase the Vantage pro 2 station with the classic console, as some parameters cannot be read on the console, such as evapotranspiration. Soil condition stations are not compatible.

The link between the outdoor sensors (ISS) and the console is via radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 metres within sight. The console is equipped with a backlit LCD screen. This is not the console sold with the Vantage pro 2 weather stations but the console usually sold with the Vantage Vue weather station. The Vantage Vue console, like the Vantage pro 2 console, allows you to view real-time weather conditions, extremes (high and low), and graphs for different variables. It is also possible to set alarms and connect the console to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not included). The ISS is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised (solar) radiation shelter. The rain gauge is equipped with a 2-trough tilting bucket system to measure rainfall. The anemometer - wind vane can be detached from the ISS to be installed on a roof for example thanks to its 12 meters cable.

CAUTION: The Vantage Vue console is not compatible with the 6345OV, 6345CS-OV, 6382OV, and 6372OV auxiliary stations.
