This kit replaces the tipping bucket system of Davis Instruments metric rain gauges.

It is compatible with all Davis Instruments rain gauges, regardless of generation.

This single bucket system improves the quality of rainfall measurement. Calibration is carried out at the factory and is not necessary after installation. However, it is possible to adjust the tipping sensitivity of the trough by means of a screw.

This is a typical example of what I describe as "keeping up with technological developments". Not only do you allow us to put a weather station back into service, but you also help us to improve it by bringing it up to date; a sort of Upgrading on the shelf! I was particularly impressed by the compactness and certainly the robustness of this element, which seems to me to be much less exposed to the daily "hassles" of the weather and better protected from our inevitable enemies, spiders in particular!
