History

The company was initially created in 1984 by Roland DREANO in the trade in agricultural supplies and the collection of cereals in Saint-Malo-des-trois-fontaines in the Morbihan.

In 2010, through the intermediary of Jérôme DREANO, the company diversified with the creation of a branch specialising in the distribution of meteorological measuring instruments via the internet. The e-commerce shop www.meteo-shopping.fr and the trade name Météo Shopping were created.

In 2015, the agricultural business is sold. The company then specialises exclusively in the meteorological sector. The trade name Meteo Concept was also created in 2015, which is the company's name today.

In 2016, Jérôme DREANO became president of the company. The meteorological equipment marketing activity develops considerably in the following years.

Météo Concept becomes an importer of several manufacturers such as Davis Instruments, Peet Bros, two American manufacturers or JDC Instruments, a Swiss manufacturer and Logic Energy, a Scottish manufacturer.

At the same time, Météo Concept became known as a meteorological research and expertise office, in particular through its entity Météo Bretagne and its website meteo.bzh.

In 2017, as part of its development, the company moved its offices to Cesson-Sévigné in Ille-et-Vilaine. The head office remains in Saint Malo des trois fontaines.

From 2018 to the present day, the years are marked by growth and diversification of services. Météo Concept develops installation, maintenance and data management services for its weather stations marketed throughout France.

Météo Concept has seven employees. The administrative and commercial department also includes the pre-sales and after-sales services.
